1. Acceptance and scope
These Terms apply when you visit or use On Academy’s website, learning resources, or services. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the relevant service.
On Academy provides professional education and, where expressly offered, Odoo ERP and business systems services. A separate proposal, order confirmation, or written agreement governs any consulting or custom engagement and takes priority for that engagement if its terms differ.
2. Accounts and security
Keep your account details accurate and protect your sign-in information. You are responsible for activity under your account unless it results from a security incident that you promptly report to us. Contact us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
For your protection, do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, or other secret credentials through a contact form or ordinary email. We will not ask you to disclose your password.
3. Orders, payments, cancellations, and refunds
Before you complete an order, the checkout page will show the price, currency, what is included, and whether a payment repeats. We will not start a recurring charge unless the recurring nature and billing interval are shown before purchase and you authorize it.
For a service ordered through Khamsat or Fiverr, place the order and pay through that marketplace’s protected order and payment system. The relevant service listing and order page set out the service scope and conditions. The marketplace provides its cancellation, dispute, and refund process; any eligible refund is requested and processed through that platform under the terms of that specific service and the marketplace’s rules. To keep the marketplace protections in place, do not pay outside the platform.
If a technical problem prevents you from receiving paid access, contact us so we can restore access or provide an appropriate remedy. For courses purchased through Udemy or another marketplace, that marketplace manages the order, payment, access, and refund process under its own published policies.
4. Course access and content license
Unless the checkout page or a written team license says otherwise, a course purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable right to access the purchased learning materials through the stated platform. It does not transfer ownership of the course or its intellectual property.
You may not copy, resell, publish, distribute, record for redistribution, or use course materials to create a competing product without written permission from the rights holder. You may use your own notes and apply the skills you learn in your work.
Access duration and delivery format are shown by the platform or offer through which you enrolled. We will not shorten a paid access period except where necessary to address fraud, a serious security risk, or a material breach of these Terms; any action will respect applicable consumer rights.
5. Consulting and custom work
For consulting, configuration, development, or training engagements, the written proposal or order confirmation will define the agreed scope, deliverables, fees, schedule, client responsibilities, and any revision or support period. Work outside that scope requires written agreement before additional charges are incurred.
You remain responsible for maintaining your business records and backups and for approving access to your systems. We will use access only to perform the agreed work and will not ask you to share personal passwords when a safer access method is available.
6. Educational content and outcomes
Courses and learning resources provide general education and professional development. They do not guarantee a specific job, income, certification, grade, business result, or system outcome. Your results depend on your circumstances and how you apply the material.
Educational content is not a substitute for advice tailored to your legal, tax, accounting, investment, or other regulated situation. A professional advisory engagement is provided only when expressly agreed in writing.
7. Availability and third-party services
We work to keep the website and learning resources available and accurate, but maintenance, platform updates, or events outside our reasonable control may cause interruptions. If a paid service is materially unavailable, contact us and we will work with you on a reasonable solution, subject to the purchase terms and applicable law.
Some courses, payment flows, and links are delivered by third-party platforms. Those platforms have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for services operated by others, but this does not limit any rights you may have against the relevant provider.
8. Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully and do not interfere with its security or other users’ access. You must not attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, misuse another person’s account, or infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the site, or our content. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to request a review.
9. Liability and your consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. We remain responsible for loss directly caused by our failure to provide a service as expressly promised, subject to applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you entered into the relevant transaction. This section does not limit liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services, security, or legal obligations. The current version is available on this page. Changes apply to future use and purchases; they do not remove rights attached to an earlier purchase.
Questions, account concerns, or refund requests can be submitted through the On Academy contact page. The mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live continue to apply.
